The Toppnuts exports five varieties of raisins: Golden Angori, Golden Kashmari, Sultana, Malayer, and Sun-dried.

Golden Raisins:

Golden raisins (Angori) may grow in any area of Iran due to favourable geographical and climatic conditions. The key characteristics of this variety of Iranian raisins are their pure golden colour and sweet, fruity flavour, which distinguishes them from others. This variety of sultana is derived from Thompson seedless raisins, which are often treated with sulphur dioxide to keep their golden colour.

Kashmari Raisins:

Kashmari raisins are typically lengthy in shape and sweet and sour in taste. The green colour of kashmari is caused by sulphur fumigation and shadow drying. Similar to the golden process, the material is dried, treated with vegetable oil, mechanically cleaned, and then sorted by hand and laser to detect foreign contaminants. All of these treatments are performed in exceedingly sanitary circumstances.

Sultana Raisins:

Sultana raisins are typically made from the highest quality seedless grapes. The technique of making sultana raisins differs slightly from that of other varieties of raisins. First, the raisins must be cleaned and sorted, ideally twice, before being dipped and placed in edible oil and dried.

Malayer Raisins:

The product in process is from seedless grapes of the Vitis vinifera variety. Kashmar raisins, also known as long raisins are produced from seedles grapes that are local Iranian type. This kind is famous for its special sweet and sour taste and its long length shape. Long raisin like golden raisins are made using sulfur fumigation process and shade dried so they are golden amber in color. This type is popular for those who dislike the extreme sweat flavor of other raisins types. Like other types, kashmar raisins are dried, coated with vegetable oil, stemmed, mechanically cleaned, laser and hand sorted then metal detected under extreme care of hygienic conditions and with legal and safety requirements and the customers special specifications.

Sun-Dried Raisins:

Sun-Dried Raisins as it is obvious from its name this type of raisins are dried in the sun and no chemical stuff are added, hence the color of this type is much darker than the other raisins. Yet, this type of raisins is from Black rains family, it can be considered as black raisins.
